Abstract

This data set contains the 2008-2009 Alachua County school zones, adopted by SBAC, for elementary schools..


Purpose

This data set contains the 2008-2009 Alachua County school zones, adopted by SBAC, for elementary schools.


Supplementary Information

The geometry portion of this dataset was converted from the School Board's AutoCAD format to ESRI Personal Geodatabase Feature Class.
The original AutoCAD layer delineated zoning district boundaries by roadways only, and was stored in 2 separate files; an Urban Area Map and Rural Area Map.  Alachua County Growth Management fitted these boundaries to parcel boundaries and merged them into one seemless dataset. This dataset will be frequently updated to coincide with parcel boundary adjustments.
