The northern boundary for Plum Point Middle begins at the Patuxent River, at a point just south of Holland Cliff Shores, with the line moving due east to the intersection of Bowie Shop Rd. and Hunting Creek Rd. From this intersection, the line moves north and east of Hunting Creek Rd. to the Patuxent United Methodist Church on Rte. 4, south of the community of Radcliffe.

From this point the line moves north along Rte. 4 to Pond Woods Rd., (not to include any drives along Rte. 4 in this section). At Pond Woods Rd. the line moves northeast along Fishing Creek to the Hardesty Rd./Fishing Creek bridge. From this point the line proceeds northeast to St. Edmonds Church on Dalrymple Rd. and then swings north and west of the community of Lake Karylbrook and proceeds east to the Bay at the northern boundary of the U.S. Naval Reservation.

The southern boundary begins at the Patuxent River just north of Hollowing Point Rd., and moves in an easterly direction to the intersection of Barstow and German Chapel Rds. From this point the line moves north and east to the intersection of Stoakley Rd. and Rte. 4. The line loops around Dorsey Rd. to the intersection of Clay Hammond and Dares Beach Rds. The line moves in a south and east direction to the Bay.

The western boundary is the Patuxent River and the eastern boundary is the Bay.

The following communities and/or roads are included in Plum Point Middle school: Bowie Shop Rd., Deep Landing Rd., The Oaks, Hunting Fields. Homes and drives on Rte. 4, south of Plum Point Methodist Church to the intersection of Stoakley Rd. and Rte. 4. Ponds Wood Rd., Lake Karylbrook, Owen Soper Rd., Cox Rd., Marley Run, Stoakley Rd., Plum Point Rd., Clay Hammond Rd., Bayside Forrest, and the community of Dares Beach.
