They do not include private or charter schools. Maps were created in the fall of 2000 and reviewed by D.C. Public Schools. Although these boundaries follow existing snapbase features, the digitized boundaries are not identical to those base features. Differences are not significant at scales fitting a letter-sized page, but differences may become apparent when zoomed in further. Given this, these boundaries are not coincident with geography from other DC GIS datasets.
